Cristina Belen Martinez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Therapy with Cris, a private practice based in Pasadena, California. She is bilingual in Spanish. She has been in healthcare for over 12+ years in various capacities. Her professional experience includes clinical work in a trauma center hospital, ER unit, research, and health education. She is passionate about helping others improve their quality of life.

Her treatment approach in psychotherapy is holistic, which considers the person’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. She is an innovative generalist but enjoys focusing on a wide range of areas including wellness, relationships, blended families, sexual identity, issues related to self-actualization. As well as therapy for millennials, creative minds, artists, performers and executives in leadership roles.  

Cristina values authenticity in relationships and believes that therapy is most successful when people can be themselves. So, who is Cristina? In her free time, she loves hanging out and making memories with her family and friends. She loves cooking, smoothies, dancing, traveling, learning, reading, writing, music, concerts, art, museums, and the beach. Cristina believes that all of her life experiences, especially those that were painful and challenging, prepared her for her calling as a psychotherapist.
